Kid Cudi splits from G.O.O.D. Music label
Kid Cudi announced via Twitter (2.26.2011) that he is no longer with G.O.O.D. Music and that he is forming his own label. Cudi says the relationship with him and Kanye is still strong and will continue to make music together.
Cudi’s twitter response: “As far as my momement, I have to be the one who leads it…when people have different visions, you gotta go on your own way… Ill always be fuckin with Yeezy. For Life. A true friend” -Kid Cudi (via Twitter)

Kanye West gets "Boo'ed" in Chicago
Kanye West was recently seen at the Bulls game vs. the Miami Heat (Feb 24). His newest single “All of the Lights” blarred thru United Center with Kanye live on the Jumbo-Tron. When introduced to the crowd he got an array of “Boo’s”. This is the exact problem I have with Chicago!! Yall dont support your own ppl!! You cant make it big here and thats exactly why Yeezy left. Yeezy got big in New York when he was producing all those records for Jay-Z and Rocafella. Kanye came back to the Chi in 2005 when he finally had shit poppin. Kanye is def one of the most influentual/ iconic figures of our generation. He made it out of the same section yall are from, and he still puts on for your city; while yall are tryna throw dirt on a nigga (sigh….)

I played futbol when I was young. Ive been to several tournaments and matches out their. I feel London would be a good fit because its a different culture but still very similar to home. So I guess Fashion & Futbol. and ya EVERYTHING goes on in New York. If I dont go to London Im going to New York. I got alot of connections out in NY.

I’m a composer (beat maker)/producer/engineer/photographer/aspiring fashion designer. If you come out here for music, you def want to go to New York or California. Chicago doesnt support their own artists. I plan on moving to London in a year or two.

MTV Spring Break 2011
MTV’s Spring Break 2011 kicks it off in Vegas for the second year in a row. (At the Palms Casino Resort). Hosted by Pauly D from Jersey Shore. Wiz Khalifa and Lupe Fiasco are the featured Artists to rip the stage. Airing March 6 - March 9 on MTV, MTV2, and MTVu.

It was just announced that Def Jam labelmates Fabolous & Ne-Yo are putting toghether a ”Best of Both Worlds” LP. Very similar to the Jay-Z/R Kelly project. (more on this later…)
Rihanna vs Ciara. Twitter War
Yesterday Ciara made an apperance on E’s Fashion Police! Rihanna threw shots at Ciara during the NBA All-Star game…Rihanna was with LeBron James and Jay-Z in the V.I.P. section when Ciara (one of Lebron’s side chicks) came and invaded her space. RiRi goes off and calls Ciara a “stripper”. Rihanna later tweets: “O my bad Ci, did I forget to tip you??? #HowRudeofMe”. Ciara replies “Trust me Rihanna you dont wanna see me on or off the stage”. Rihanna later apolgized, but it was told her Publicist made her give a “fake” apology. (More on this later…)
